* The Vitiligo Society
Vitiligo is a condition where white patches of skin appear on various parts of the body. This is because the pigment-producing skin cells have died and not been replaced. The patches stand out much more if the rest of the skin is dark or tanned. The Society gives excellent information and advice, as well as promoting research into cause and treatments.
